INDOBALINEWS - Sebuah film ode tentang kejayaan Hollywood berjudul "Mank" meraup nominasi terbanyak dalam penghargaan Oscar 2021.
Film yang tampil di layar hitam putih ini bercerita tentang penulisan naskah "Citizen Kane" yang terkenal sebagai film terbaik sepanjang masa.
Mank adalah film drama biografi yang berpusat pada perjalanan penulis naskah Herman J Mankiewics (Gary Oldman). Ia memanggil dirinya dengan sebutan Mank.
Film ini akan menceritakan kisah Mankiewics menggarap naskah Citizen Kane, seperti yang dilansir indobalinews.com dari Variety, Selasa 16 Maret 2021.

Saat ini Mank yang diproduseri dan dirilis oleh Netflix meraup 10 nominasi termasuk nominasi utama yaitu Sutradara Terbaik (David Fincher), Aktor Terbaik (Gary Oldman) dan Aktris Pendukung Terbaik (Amanda Seyfried) dan Film Terbaik.
Selain Gary Oldman sebagai aktor, film yang berlatarbelakang kehidupan tahun 1930-1n ini juga menampilkan Amanda Seyfried yang berperan sebagai Marion Davies, Lily Collins sebagai Rita Alexander, dan Tom Burke sebagai Orson Welles.
Acara penghargaan Oscar ini setelah ditunda maka dapat dipastikan akan berlangsung 25 April 2021 di Los Angeles 'Union Station dan Dolby Theatre dengan Priyanka Chopra Jonas dan Nick Jonas yang membacakan nominasi.
