However, solo travelling doesn’t mean that the said traveler will be alone for most of their time; they can meet other travelers in areas designated for tourists, e.g. hotels and resorts. But in the midst of pandemic, those kind of meetings should be prohibited knowing the danger of socializing to spread further the virus. In spite of that, solo travelling is the only form of tourism that can guarantee physical distancing in comparison to usual travelling, as traveler will travel by themselves and not in groups.

The provincial government of Bali should consider the possibility of solo travelling in managing their policies. Not only that, but tourists abroad should also be aware of this form of travelling lest they want to travel to a COVID-ridden area. In the advice of the writer, this form of travelling should only be allowed after coronavirus has ceased/significantly slowed down in Bali. In the end, there’s a certain possibility that tourism like we’d known would change into a new facet of tourism that is pandemic-proof, which is solo travelling.
